Enhanced Screen Performance

Carbis offer enhanced screen service life. The application of Tungsten and Stellite of varying thicknesses using HVOF technique to the screen surface, can typically extend life by a third. The properties of the HVOF offer enhanced wear, abrasion and corrosion resistance, the resulting coating has, amongst other attributes, very low porosity and high bond strength.

Typical applications include:

• Replacement Centrifuge screens for Broadbent, Bird, B&P, Birtley, Andritz, Ferrum, Siebtechnik, Tema, Kraus-Maffei and Escher-Wyss.
• Bead and Ball Mill screens.
• Vibratory screens for coal and potash applications.
• Separator internals in corrosive and abrasive environments.
